Having spent nearly a decade immersed in the rich gardening culture of the UK, our love for edible, medicinal, and ornamental plants blossomed. Upon returning to South Carolina, we carried with us not just memories, but a profound desire to transform our horticultural passion into something meaningful.
Driven by personal experiences that illuminated the incredible benefits of mushrooms including a brain injury and healing journey sustained after giving birth to our son, we embarked on a new chapter. Harnessing our skills and knowledge, we established Southern Mushroom Company to share our love for fungi, healing, culinary experience and horticulture with our community and beyond.
